My name is Mariano and my family and friends call me Nano. I believe that Nano is just a short form for Mariano: it applies for every Mariano. But it turns out that I’m only 1.68cm tall and 58kg. So nano fits me well considering that I’m pretty small! Also, my sister used to kindly call me – well, she still does from time to time – enano which in turns means dwarf in Spanish. I don't think there's a kind way to call someone a dwarf in English, though!

So yeah, Nano makes sense!

Oh, and Dev stands for Developer or Development. Which in fact is what I’ve been doing my whole life and the main topic I'll be posting on this site about.
